TERMS AND CONDITIONS
“Cucinamore Party” is the event we provide: an in-home dinner with optional cooking demonstration of a menu of choice, among those offered on the website, inclusive of the following –
· Personal Chef services: prepping, cooking, and serving demonstration, at the client’s location for groups of 2-25 participants.
· Shopping services for all necessary ingredients
· Use of all necessary tools, serving plates, and cookware (provided by CUCINAMORE, LLC)
· Cleanup of areas of kitchen used by our personnel.
“Client” means any person who submits a reservation for a Cucinamore Party.
“Participant” means the client’s guests, or any person attending the party at the client’s chosen location.
“Location” – is where the party takes place. We are based in Leesburg, VA and serve a radius of approximately 35 miles from there.
Quotation:
Client will find a quotation per person on the website www.cucinamore.net based on the menu of choice and a minimum of 6 participants. Special arrangements to accommodate client’s specific needs can be agreed on under the “A la carte” option, and priced accordingly. If a booked event is altered in any way after confirmation, it may be necessary to change the original quote depending on the changes made.
Prices:
The cost per person for the event varies according to the menu option chosen from the website offering.
The minimum charge per event is equal to 6 participants paying adult price.
Special flat rates per party (not per person) are offered on the website for couples’ events. These are applicable only Monday through Thursday.
Kids rate:
Children under 6: free of charge
Children between 6 and 12 years of age: 50% charge
Children over 12 years old: charged at the adult rate.
Reduced prices applicable, when at least 6 adult quotes have been applied.
Prices include all services listed under the definition of “Cucinamore Party”.
Individual plates, silverware, and drinks are not provided.
All published prices are inclusive of tax.
Payment terms and accepted form of payment:
A $50.00 nonrefundable deposit ($100.00 for groups of 15 participants and up), payable upon booking, is necessary to secure reservation. Deposit will be refunded only in the event of a booking that cannot be confirmed due to reasons not imputable to the client.
Deposit can be paid on the reservation page, following the link provided. A booking will not be considered ‘Confirmed’ until a deposit or payment has been received, and subsequently may be subject to cancellation.
Balance: Invoice for the balance will be sent one week before the party, with the final recap. A link for payment by e-check or credit card will be included. If preferred, payment can be provided by the host on the day of the party by credit card, check, or cash (please collect individual payments from guests, if the case).
The return of a check (electronic or paper) issued to CUCINAMORE, LLC will result in a $50.00 returned check fee, along with all costs of collection, including attorney fees and court costs.
Changes:
Following changes to Clients Booking can be done at any stage, up to 7 days prior to the event date, when a final confirmation is requested.
i. Change in date and time
ii. Change to menu
iii. Change in number of participants (Minimum event fee stated in “Prices” paragraph always applies)
Cancellation Policy:
Rescheduling and cancellations are permitted at no charge, subject to availability, if requested at least 7 days prior to the initial booking date. The non-refundable deposit is not returnable, regardless of the reason for cancellation or change of plans.
A $100.00 cancellation fee is applicable for cancellations or rescheduling between 7 and 4 days before the party date.
For events canceled within 3 days of the event, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total amount will be charged.
No refund for cancellation of single participants within 3 days of the event.
***Rescheduling a party might sometimes be necessary in case of extreme weather, health issues or any other unfavorable conditions. Should the situation present itself, we will decide this together, according to local general alerts, weather forecast, and common sense, to keep it safe for all involved.
Clients Responsibilities:
It is the responsibility of the Client to confirm and provide the correct information to CUCINAMORE, LLC about Booking details. Responsibilities include and not limited to the following:
1. Submitting completed reservation form from website and deposit
2. Providing correct date & times, billing and location address, and contact details
3. Providing full payment on the day of the party
4. Providing all known dietary restrictions
Safety and Use of provided equipment:
It is the responsibility of the Client to ensure that CUCINAMORE, LLC has details of any special dietary requirements or allergies. A menu choice that is safe to consume for all will apply to the entire group. Participants are welcome to taste all the food prepared during the party, but it will be their sole responsibility to inquire about all ingredients, in order not to consume any food they might be allergic to, or that can be harmful to them in any way.
Participation in our cooking parties will involve use of cooking equipment, and different tools including sharp knives. It is understood and expressly agreed to by all participants that by attending or participating in the party, the participant releases, indemnifies and holds harmless CUCINAMORE, LLC, its owner, and any of its employees, from any and all liability of any kind for any damage and/or injury incurred in connection with attendance or participation. Participants understand and accept the inherent risks in the preparation and cooking of food at a cooking party.
The Client and the participants are responsible for any death, injury, damage or loss suffered by anyone at an event unless the cause was a direct result of an action or consequence of an employee of CUCINAMORE, LLC.
Force majeure – CUCINAMORE, LLC shall not be liable to the Client for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or cancellation of the event that is due to circumstances beyond the control of CUCINAMORE, LLC including but not limited to fire, acts of terrorism, floods, inclement weather, strikes, lockouts, riots, civil unrest, interference by civil or military authorities or acts of war.
The client agrees to share all the above information with all participants.
